No RCIA until further notice due to Coronavirus in UK
If you would like to know more about becoming a Catholic or you want to know more about your own Faith or what being a Catholic really means then you are welcome to come along to these informal sessions at Ss Peter & Paul every First Friday of the month at 7pm.
If you know someone who might be interested then do please tell them about this and maybe come along with them for a bit of moral support.
The sessions will be very informal and very interesting even for rusty Catholics or for those who know very little about what being a Catholic is all about.

Confession - Be courageous and go!!
There are plenty of opportunities to come to Confession in our parish or elsewhere in the other Bath churches of the Deanery. Ask the priest after week day Holy Mass when would be a convenient time or check the newsletter to see when the regular time is. at Ss Pater & Paul there is a chance for Confession after Saturday Holy Mass at 9.30am. It is our duty as Catholics to share in the Sacrament of confession and forgiveness during Lent or at least before the end of the Easter period and also when we are in need of God's mercy and forgiveness so that we are in a most worthy state to receive Him in Holy Communion.
If you have not been to confession for a long time then this would be a good time to return to the Sacrament. If you need a little more help in remembering what to say to the priest then read here.
Very recently Pope Francis led the way once again. At the end of a Penitential service at St Peter's in Rome, he walked away from the throng and to everyone's surprise, he knelt in front of a priest at a confessional and confessed his sins.

Holy Mass for 'Mission' at Prior Park on Sunday 5th August
We remembered our Parish history and the time when the Parish worshipped at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows 50 years ago by celebrating Holy Mass there this weekend and enjoying a picnic in the grounds, being blessed by glorious weather and good company.
Maybe this could be an annual event celebrating our past and looking to the future together on the Feast of Our Lady of Snows? |
