Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Bath

 All Saints Day - A Holy day of Obligation!
Why does the Church celebrate this Feast of the Saints?

 1. To honor God in His saints.
2. To thank God for these saints.
3. To inspire us in remembrance of saints' holiness
4. To celebrate all those called to be saints.
5. To call us to model ourselves on the saints.
6. To encourage us to strive for the like sanctity with them, and to teach us that it is by no means impossible;
7. To pay honor to those saints to whom no particular day in the year is dedicated.
8. To allow us a share in their merits, and grant us the grace of one day sharing in their joy in heaven.
